Owner and Head Instructor
Eduardo Telles is a legendary figure in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, known worldwide for his creative and unorthodox grappling style. A black belt since the early 2000s, Telles made his mark training alongside icons like Fernando Tererê and Demian Maia under the prestigious Alliance and TT Team banners. He later founded Nine Nine Jiu-Jitsu, where he developed the groundbreaking style known as Esquijitsu a unique approach that challenged traditional techniques with unpredictable and effective movements. With medals at the World Championships and professional MMA experience, Telles is a global reference in innovation, versatility, and passion for Jiu-Jitsu.
Kids BJJ Instructor
Jason Telles is a rising talent in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, following in the footsteps of his father, Eduardo Telles. He began training at the age of five at TT Jiu-Jitsu in São Paulo, under Carlos Galvão, a student of both Tererê and Telles. After a brief pause in his training, Jason moved to California at age sixteen to live with his father, reigniting his passion for the sport. Now a brown belt, Jason has grown into a skilled athlete and respected coach, leading kids’ classes with energy and dedication. His love for Jiu-Jitsu shines through in every class he teaches and every student he inspires.

Would recommend for any body starting or on the journey. Very grateful for all the lessons and experience gained here 🙏Posted on Ryan LangleyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We first chose 99 Jiu jitsu because of its proximity to our house, but I am so glad we chose them. I had all three of my children enrolled in classes there. Coaches Jason, Saki, Celine and Professor Mike were phenomenal instructors balancing discipline, technique, and fun with the kids. I could not have asked for a better organization to put my kids in. This gym has such a welcoming attitude toward anyone who wants to learn on the mats. It truly was a family and we were sad to leave due to our military PCS. I cannot recommend them enough.Posted on LONE WOLFTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I am grateful for this opportunity to train with warriors. One of the most humble and welcoming gym I’ve ever been a part of. I’ve since relocated, but I make it a point to visit whenever I’m back in town. Grateful for the training, the people, and the atmosphere—this place will always feel like home.Posted on Alayne FerreiraTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A very welcoming gym, it's big enough that you'll usually have plenty of people to spar with, but not so big that the instructor ends up ignoring you. I made many friends from this place.Posted on Manuel NazzalTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This place is amazing. Extremely friendly and perfect for all ages.
